Antigua and Barbuda - Export requirements for meat and poultry products

Eligible/ineligible product

Eligible

  • All non-ruminant meat products (see West Indies – Export requirements for meat and poultry products)
  • For products derived from ruminants, only the following are eligible:
    • beef derived from animals that were less than thirty (30) months old (UTM) at the time of slaughter
    • sheep and goat meat that was derived from animals which were less than twelve (12) months old at the time of slaughter
    • veal derived from animals that were less than thirty-six (36) weeks old at the time of slaughter
    • fresh or frozen bovine liver

Documentation requirements

Certificate

  • Certificate of Inspection Covering Meat Products (CFIA/ACIA 1454)
  • Annex A – Veterinary certificate for meat (bone in or deboned) derived from ruminants destined for export to Antigua and Barbuda
    • Annex A is to be used in the case of exports of meat products derived from ruminants.
