1. Requirements
Plants grown on a block shall be subject to one of the following approved insecticidal treatments using label recommended rates.
2. Formulations of insecticides with the following active ingredients are considered to be effective against hemlock woolly adelgid.
Active Ingredients:
- Acephate
- Diazinon
- Imidacloprid
- Insecticidal soap
- Malathion
- Mineral Oil
It is the growers responsibility to ensure that only registered products are used. Please refer to the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for additional information.
