On April 29, 2026, the Canadian Beef Grading Agency (CBGA) made changes to the Beef Carcass grade requirements in the Beef, Bison and Veal Carcass Grade Requirements, a document incorporated by reference into the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations. Changes to documents incorporated by reference follow the CFIA Incorporation by Reference Policy.
The amended version can be found in the Inventory of documents incorporated by reference. These changes reflect feedback received by the CBGA during the consultation period.
