Pre-export approvals by competent authority of importing country
Establishments
- Available information indicates that the suspensions imposed by the Russian authorities on pork establishments listed in Annex E: Lists of establishments approved by Russia do not apply to pork meat products intended for export to Belarus.
Import permit
- Exporters are responsible to ensure that import permit for the product intended for export and for the establishment(s) of origin have been obtained, as required.
Production controls and inspection requirements
- Establishments planning to export to Belarus must continue to meet Russian requirements. This means that they must continue to test products as per requirements of Russian Annex M and Annex H.

Annex A (Russia) – Veterinary Certificate for Frozen Pork Meat Exported from Canada to the Russian Federation (CFIA/ACIA 5555)
Note
As Belarus is part of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and based on the information obtained by the Canadian exporters, CFIA can issue CFIA/ACIA 5555 for the export of pork to Belarus. CFIA veterinarians and inspectors must verify that the pork products exported to Belarus meet the requirements of the Annex T: Canadian Ractopamine-Free Pork Certification Program. In addition, the signing veterinarians must obtain a letter of commercial risk when issuing CFIA/ACIA 5555 for Belarus.
