Recommendation 1: The Operations Branch should identify and track performance measurement indicators that would illustrate that the necessary number of inspections is undertaken each year. Operations Branch agrees with the recommendation. Operations/OSD will develop an inspection task in the Compliance Verification System (CVS) that will require inspectors to electronically record their daily presence visit in all multi shift standalone meat processing establishments. This will also enable a report that can be generated showing all establishments requiring daily presence and compliance with those requirements.

Lead Karen McIntyre (OSD)
