The following certificate is available:
- Certificate of country of origin for aquatic animals for the export of wild caught live eels and juvenile eels (elvers) for aquaculture purposes from Canada to Hong Kong (AQAH-1091)
Important Notes:
- October 24, 2018 - The Hong Kong authorities have indicated that at this time, consignments of wild caught live eels and juveniles eels (elvers) for aquaculture purposes to the final destination of Hong Kong do not need to be accompanied by certificate AQAH-1091. If the animals are intended for re-export to China (People's Republic of) as the final destination, the consignment to Hong Kong must be accompanied by certificate AQAH-1091 for purposes of re-export to China.
- There may be existing certificates or additional information from the Fish and Seafood program. However, for the specific commodities above, a certificate of country of origin for aquatic animals is required.
