Sodium-restricted diets
Foods may be represented as for use in a sodium-restricted diet if they meet the requirements of one of the following sodium (salt) claims:
- free of sodium or salt
- low in sodium or salt
- reduced in sodium or salt, or
- lower in sodium or salt [B.01.508 and B.24.003, FDR]
