The trial included a total of 12 shrubs each of the candidate and reference varieties. Trials were arranged outdoors in rows with 1 metre spacing between plants. All observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or parts of plants, of each variety on July 5, 2022, except flowering characteristics which were taken on May 24, 2022.
