Summary: The plants of 'AAC Dynamik' have a semi-upright growth habit whereas the plants of 'Seascape' have an upright growth habit. The foliage of 'AAC Dynamik' is dense whereas the foliage of 'Seascape' is of medium density. The stolons for 'AAC Dynamik' have a medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration and dense pubescence whereas those for 'Seascape' have absent or very weak anthocyanin colouration and medium density pubescence. The leaf of 'AAC Dynamik' is small whereas that of 'Seascape' is medium sized. For the flower of 'AAC Dynamik', the calyx is the same size as the corolla whereas the calyx is smaller than the corolla of 'Seascape'. The fruit of 'AAC Dynamik' has a long conical shape whereas that of 'Seascape' is rhomboid shaped. The fruit of 'AAC Dynamik' has an absent or very narrow band without achenes whereas the fruit of 'Seascape' has a narrow band without achenes. The achenes are positioned below the fruit surface for 'AAC Dynamik' whereas they are level with the fruit surface for 'Seascape'. Excluding the core, the fruit flesh of 'AAC Dynamik' is medium red whereas that of 'Seascape' is light red.

Origin & Breeding History: 'AAC Dynamik' (experimental designation FLP112-8) originated from a cross conducted in 2010 by Dr. Shahrokh Khanizadeh at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada substation in L'Acadie, Quebec. The cross was made between the female parent variety 'FIN005-50' and the male parent variety 'Albion'. The new variety was selected based on plant health, vigour, appearance, fruit bearing type and habit, fruit quality and yield. 'AAC Dynamik' was propagated by stolons in 2011 and 2012 in a greenhouse in L'Acadie. In 2013, the variety was transferred to Lareault Inc. in Lavaltrie, Quebec where it continues to be propagated by stolons.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'AAC Dynamik' was conducted during the summer of 2019 in Lavaltrie, Quebec. A minimum of 20 bareroot plants per variety were planted in double row raised beds in late April 2019. The raised beds were approximately 25 cm high by 32 cm wide, spaced 1.5 metres apart, and covered with white plastic. The plants were spaced 30 cm apart in a staggered pattern. There were 2 replicates. Measured characteristics were taken from 15 plants, or parts of plants.
