Asexual reproduction by vegetative tip cuttings was first conducted in December 1998 at Redland Bay, Australia.

Tests & Trials: 'Flobragbi' was tested in a greenhouse during the summer of 2004, in St. Thomas, Ontario. Trials included 15 plants of the candidate and reference varieties. Rooted cuttings were planted into 11cm pots in week 18. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants of each variety on July 6, 2004. All colour measurements were made using the 2001 RHS Colour Chart.
