Origin & Breeding History: 'Ditoicream' was bred and developed by the breeder at Ditoplant Export B.V., in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands. It originated from a cross that occurred in July 2011 between the female parent variety '2007014' and an unknown male parent in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands. Seeds were harvested and sown in January 2012, and from the resulting progeny, a single unique plant was selected in July 2012 based on its compact plant growth habit, strong stem strength, leaf characteristics including dark green colour, and poor seed production/seed sterility.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Ditoicream' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2017/1054, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted at the Naktuinbouw Variety Center in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands, in 2018. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
