SEEDLING: anthocyanin colouration of hypocotyl present

PLANT: tall, no shortened internodes in upper part, medium length internodes on primary side shoots
STEM: medium length, medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration of nodes, weak density of hairiness of nodes

LEAF BLADE: medium length and width, medium to dark green on upper side, ovate shape, weak to medium degree of undulation of margin, weak to medium blistering, moderately concave profile in cross-section, medium degree of glossiness on upper side

FLOWERING: begins early in season
PEDUNCLE: semi-drooping attitude
FLOWER: anthocyanin colouration of anther present

STALK: short to medium, thin
CALYX: non enveloping aspect

Origin & Breeding History: 'E20S0153' (experimental designation E20S.0153) originated from a controlled cross between two proprietary varieties, conducted at the Enza Zaden Research and Development station in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, in the summer of 2013. From the resulting progeny, 'E20S0153' was selected in 2014 based on seed content, fruit weight, fruit brix level and disease resistance.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'E20S0153' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number PPS1678, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted in 2017-2018 by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands.
