PLANT: medium height
STEM: short to medium length (including inflorescence), yellow green
LEAF: medium green, no stripes, drooping attitude, narrow base, yellow autumn colouration
INFLORESCENCE: grey shortly before opening, medium to dense
Origin & Breeding History: 'EMPMIS02' was discovered in Berltsum, Netherlands in 2010 as a chance seedling from unknown parents. Plants were selected based on compact plant height, dark red flower colour, long flowering period, and abundance of flowers. Asexual reproduction was first conducted in January 2015 in Harich, Netherlands.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'EMPMIS02' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2017/0249, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany from 2018 to 2019.
