Origin & Breeding History: The variety 'DLANTAN95' originated from a self pollinated cross of Lantana camara variety 'LT-7-52' that occurred in Moshav Mishmar Hashiva, Israel in August 2004. This variety was bred and developed by the breeder, Gavriel Danziger, in Moshav Mishmar Hashiva, Israel as part of a controlled breeding program. From the resulting progeny, a single seedling was selected in 2005 based on its compact growth habit, radial well-branched plant habit, early flowering time, flower colour, flower size, and full and abundant flowering. Asexual reproduction of 'DLANTAN95' was first conducted by vegetative cuttings in March 2006 in Moshav Mishmar Hashiva, Israel.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'DLANTAN95' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring and summer of 2018 in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included a total of 20 plants each of the candidate and reference varieties. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 27, 2018. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or parts of plants, of each variety on June 13, 2018. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
