Origin & Breeding History: 'Dekbartoli' was bred and developed by the breeder, Cornelis W. Dekker, in Hensbroek, Netherlands, as part of a planned breeding program. It originated from a hybrid cross conducted in October 2009 between the proprietary seedling designated '07.57935.06', as the female parent, and the proprietary seedling designated '05.43704.01', as the male parent. From the resulting progeny, 'Dekbartoli' was selected in May 2010 for its decorative flower type, flower colour, and good longevity as a cut flower. 'Dekbartoli' was first propagated by cuttings in April 2010, in Hensbroek, Netherlands. It was designated for commercialization in May 2011.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Dekbartoli' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2013/1052, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted in 2014 by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
