General
- Origin & Breeding: bred by D. Biemond B.V. from (Monalisa x Cara) in Eenrum (The Netherlands) in 1983.

Botanical Features
- Plants: medium tall, semi-erect; stems weakly pigmented; straight single wings; strongly swollen nodes, not pigmented.
- Leaves: olive green, semi-open; midribs and petioles not pigmented.
Terminal leaflets: medium ovate; apex acute; base cordate and very slightly asymmetrical; medium wavy margins.
Primary leaflets: five pairs; narrowly ovate; apex acute; base cordate and asymmetrical.
Secondary and tertiary leaflets: numerous. - Flowers: moderately numerous; white corolla with a prominent star; yellow-orange anther; flower bud weakly pigmented; very long pigmented peduncle.
- Tubers: oval; smooth creamy yellow skin; shallow to medium deep eyes, slightly red pigmented, few in number, predominantly apical; slightly prominent eyebrows; yellow flesh.
- Sprouts: broad cylindrical, moderately pubescent, purple; base moderately pigmented, apex weakly pigmented.
Agricultural Features
Very high yielding potential variety; high number of attractive appearance tubers per plant; good storability; medium dormancy period.
Remark: vine killing can be difficult.
- Utilization: no discolouration after cooking; very good for boiling and baking.
- Chief Market: fresh market.
Reaction to Diseases
Field immunity: potato wart (race 2).
Resistant: golden nematode (Globodera rostochiensis Ro1, Ro4).
Highly resistant: common scab.
Moderately resistant: leaf roll, PVY.
