Effective August 14, 2026, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) cancelled the Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence #4F3BLLLC of Aliments Halal Sano Inc., located in Lasalle, Quebec.
With this cancellation, the licence holder may not conduct any activity for which SFC licence #4F3BLLLC was issued.
On December 8, 2025, the CFIA suspended the licence #4F3BLLLC because the licence holder had failed to take corrective actions to comply with the following Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) requirements:
- Identification and analysis of hazards
- Development and implementation of a preventive control plan
- Product traceability
A licence may be revoked if its holder fails to take corrective action within ninety (90) days following a suspension under paragraph 39 a) of the SFCR.
At the end of this period, the CFIA informed Aliments Halal Sano Inc. of the cancellation of its licence.
There is no recall associated with this cancellation.
