On-screen text: Invasive species can have devastating impacts.
August is Tree Check Month
the time when damage caused by insects, disease and fungi are most visible on trees.
So become a plant hero in your neck of the woods.
Check trees and gardens for signs of insects and damage.
Look for feeding activity, leaf discolouration, bark cracks, dead branches, and insect holes and eggs.
Find something suspicious? Let us know at inspection.canada.ca/pests.
Join the conversation using #TreeCheckMonth.
