Check the recall notice for details
Examine the recalled products by comparing:
- brand name
- product name
- container size
- container codes (such as UPC and lot number)
A recall may only apply to specific versions of a product that may be sold under different brands or in various stores. To know if your product is affected, check the recall notice and make sure all the details – brand, size, UPC, container code, and location match exactly. If they don't, your product is not part of the recall.
If you have a recalled product
- Do not consume, serve, sell, or distribute it.
- Dispose of it safely or return it to the location where it was purchased.
- If unsure, contact your retailer for confirmation.
- If you feel sick after consuming a recalled product, seek medical advice.
