Ongoing responsibilities
The manufacturer must ensure that the product file at the Canadian Centre for Veterinary Biologics (CCVB) is kept up to date.
Canadian importers must update the CFIA Veterinary Biologics Operations (VBO) veterinarian in their region of any major change in their facility or operating procedures.
Canadian importers should also note that product licences for foreign manufacturers must be renewed before import permits for related products can be processed.
