Certification for direct export to the European Union (EU) must be done using the Trade Control and Expert System New Technology (TRACES NT).
However, in case a commodity is first exported to a third country before being exported to the EU (for example, pet food exported to the USA for further export to EU; animal products exported to the USA for further processing into pet food to be exported to EU), additional certification attesting for the EU requirements is required, so please contact the Animal Health Office Office in your area.
