The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) cancelled the Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) license # 4WX9RBTH of Fiza's Delite Ltd. in Saint John, New Brunswick on June 14, 2023.
With this cancellation the license holder may not conduct any activity for which SFC license # 4WX9RBTH was issued.
The CFIA cancelled the license because the license holder failed to comply with section 24 (6) of the Safe Food for Canadians Act with regards to providing assistance and documentation required to assess compliance. The suspension occurred on February 17, 2023.
There is no recall associated with this cancelation.
License holders are responsible for ensuring that they comply with Canada's food laws. The CFIA is responsible for enforcing those laws.
