About the consultation
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) launched a 30-day consultation about the Recognition of Export Grain Analysis by Authorized Laboratories (REGAL) program, an alternative service delivery initiative made available by the CFIA for crop exporters to China, India, Mexico and Vietnam.

The CFIA heard from:
- Authorized private laboratories
- Grain exporters
- Canadian Grain Sampling Program (CGSP) samplers
- Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) bulk-vessel samplers
- Industry Stakeholders or association members
