Units of Measurement for the Net Quantity Declaration of Certain Foods

This document is incorporated by reference into the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR). Any changes to this document must be made in accordance with the CFIA Incorporation by Reference Policy.

  1. The unit of measurement for the declaration of net quantity of a prepackaged food set out in column 1 of Table 1 is set out in column 2
  2. The unit of measurement for the declaration of net quantity of a consumer prepackaged food set out in column 1 of Table 2 is set out in column 2
  3. The unit of measurement for the declaration of net quantity of a prepackaged food, other than a consumer prepackaged food, set out in column 1 of Table 3 is set out in column 2
