Turkey has aquatic animal health requirements for imports of certain live aquatic animals for aquaculture or ornamental display.
Animal Health Certificate for the Import into the Republic of Turkey of Ornamental Aquatic Animals Intended for Closed Ornamental Facilities (AQAH-1028).
- This certificate (AQAH-1028) applies to ornamental animals intended for closed ornamental facilities only.
- Please note: Exporters are responsible for determining all export requirements and documentation required by the importing country, and they should communicate with their importer and request a copy of a valid import permit to verify that the conditions on the certificate have not changed.
- There may be existing certificates or additional information from the Fish and Seafood program. However, for the specific commodities above, an aquatic animal health certificate is required.
