Reportable diseases, as outlined in the Health of Animals Act and the Reportable Diseases Regulations are diseases of significant importance to aquatic animal health and to the Canadian economy.
Anyone who owns or works with aquatic animals must report suspect cases of these diseases to a veterinarian at a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) district office.
