July 31, 2015, Ottawa: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has suspended the licence to operate of IPNI 9009-1729 Québec Inc., in Laval, QC effective July 31, 2015.
The CFIA has determined that the company failed to pay the CFIA Federal Produce License fee for 2014-15 and 2015-16, as required by the Licensing and Arbitration Regulations.
There is no recall associated with this suspension.
IPNI 9009-1729 Québec Inc. will not be able to resume operations until it pays the outstanding fees.
Licences and registrations of federally registered establishments or companies can be suspended or cancelled for failure to comply with relevant CFIA Acts and Regulations. The CFIA publishes a list of suspensions and cancellations on its web site.
