Effective September 1, 2015, Establishment 3955, Érablière D.R. Doyon Inc., no longer holds a registration under the Maple Products Regulations.
July 27, 2015, Ottawa: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has suspended the registration of Establishment 3955, Érablière D.R. Doyon Inc.; a maple syrup producer located in Saint-Théophile, Quebec, effective July 22, 2015.
The CFIA determined that the establishment did not implement the corrective measures required by the Agency in the prescribed time. These measures concern the establishment's food safety program, water analysis, container coding and training in hygiene.
There is no recall associated with this suspension.
The registration has been suspended under subsection 6.3 (1) of the Maple Products Regulations.
The registration suspension of Érablière D.R. Doyon Inc. will remain in effect until the required corrective measures have been taken and have been verified by the CFIA.
Licences and registrations of federally registered establishments or companies can be suspended or cancelled for failing to comply with relevant CFIA Acts and Regulations. The CFIA publishes a list of suspensions and cancellations on its web site.
