December 12, 2016, Ottawa. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has not renewed the registration of Establishment 3120, Érablière G.F. Marois Inc., a maple syrup producer located in Saint-Robert-Bellarmin, Quebec.

The registration renewal was denied because Érablière G.F. Marois Inc. failed to provide the CFIA with an outline of the establishment's sanitation program pursuant to section 6 (2) of the Maple Products Regulations.

There is no recall associated with this non-renewal.

Licences and registrations of federally registered establishments or companies can be suspended, cancelled or refused renewal for failure to comply with relevant Acts and Regulations administered and enforced by the CFIA. The CFIA publishes a list of suspensions and cancellations on its website.
