Effective April 25, 2017, the Certificate of Registration of Establishment 2122, 3T'S Limited has been reinstated.

February 2, 2017, Ottawa: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has suspended the certificate of registration of Establishment 2122, 3T'S Limited, a fish processing and exporting company located in Woody Point, NL, effective January 30, 2017.

The CFIA has determined that the company failed to implement and comply with its Quality Management Program which is a violation of the Fish Inspection Regulations.

There is no recall associated with this suspension.

The company will not be able to resume operations until it has fully implemented the necessary corrective actions and the CFIA is fully confident in the facility’s ability to implement a Quality Management Program.

Licenses and registrations of federally registered establishments or companies can be suspended or cancelled for failure to comply with relevant CFIA Acts and Regulations. The CFIA publishes a list of suspensions and cancellations on its website.
