If you are reporting an emergency outside of normal business hours, such as a suspected foreign animal disease (for example Foot and Mouth Disease or Notifiable Avian Influenza); a humane transportation issue; or a transportation accident involving livestock or poultry, please contact the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's Ontario Area animal health emergency number at 1-877-814-2342.

Note, this number is staffed between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays. This number is not intended for inquiries of a non-emergency nature.
