Export requirements for quail eggs
Canada has a negotiated certificate with Trinidad and Tobago (TT).

Eligible
The quail eggs must come from an establishment licensed under the Safe Food for Canadian Regulations (SFCR) and meet the requirements of the import permit issued by the importing country.
Pre-export approvals by competent authority of importing country
To export quail eggs to TT, an import permit issued by "the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries Animal Production and Health" is required.
Labelling, packaging and marking requirements
The operator must comply with the condition of the import permit issued by the competent authority of TT.

Certificate
- Official certificate for quail eggs intended for human consumption exported from Canada to Trinidad and Tobago (CFIA/ACIA 5897)
Other information
Condition two (2) of the import permit must match with the health information that is on the negotiated certificate.
The operator may have to provide a negative laboratory test results for bacteria such as salmonella to obtain an import permit.
