Aquatic animal export: certification requirements for Oman

Exporters are advised that to be eligible for certification to Oman they must contact their local Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Office in advance of export to determine the requirements. If you require any other information on export certification, please contact your local CFIA Office.

The following certificates are available

  • Health certificate for the export of live fish, live crustaceans, and products derived from these animals for human consumption from Canada to the Sultanate of Oman (CFIA/ACIA FA1059)
    • The CFIA/ACIA FA1059 is a Joint Certificate containing both Food Safety/Public Health and Aquatic Animal Health attestations

    • Please consult your CFIA inspector for further instructions at the time of the certificate request submission
  • Health certificate for the export of live bivalve molluscs, live echinoderms, live tunicates, live marine gastropods and products derived from these animals for human consumption from Canada to the Sultanate of Oman (CFIA/ACIA FA1060)
    • The CFIA/ACIA FA1060 is a Joint Certificate containing both Food Safety/Public Health and Aquatic Animal Health attestations
